Shourie In-House Lawyer

Arun is the Managing Partner (Vision, Growth and Development) of SB LLP.

He is an Internationally Trained Lawyer, practicing law, internationally for 30 years. His primary areas of expertise are Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance (Banking and Private Equity) and Commercial Real Estate.

He has a master’s in law (LLM) Degree from McGill University, Quebec, Canada and is currently a member of the Law Society of Alberta.

Arun serves as a General Counsel to large and small to medium size enterprises (both profit and non-profit), in their daily legal needs. He services his clients in local to international acquisitions, complex projects, and securitization. He helps his clientele in strategy, problem solving, deal planning, negotiations, due diligence, compliance, and governance.

Arun has served on several volunteering boards over the years. Some of these are HomeED (a low-income housing organization of the City of Edmonton), Servus Credit Union Community Committee, The Mahatma Gandhi Peace Foundation, Canadian Condominium Institute, Edmonton Chapter. He currently serves on the Board of Alberta Lawyer’s Assistance Society (ASSIST) and is the President of the South Asian bar Association of North America (SABA) Edmonton chapter. He established this chapter in 2019.
